With the module "Live Authentication" for the Magento Online Shop you as a merchant give your customers the possibility of a secure access that is also available in many websites - via the Microsoft Windows live ID.
The "Live Authentication" module for the Magento Online Shop enables an easy integration of the Windows Live interface into the open source software. As a merchant you offer your visitors the possibility to use multiple personalized internet websites with one single identification method. Mail, blog, messenger or online shop - all accessible via the Windows Live ID with one-time authentication.
With the Vianetz Live Authentication module your online shop benefits from a large network.
An additional button on the login site of the Magento online shop leads the customer to a formular for its Windows Live ID.
On the first use the customer is prompted to connect his Windows Live ID with a customer account in the Magento Online Shop.
This is neccessary because only an ID is shared between the Windows Live servers and the Magento Online Shop. This ID has to be connected to the data from the online shop.
This can be done in 2 ways:
Either the customer already has an account in the online shop or he has the possibility to create a new one. In both cases this account will be connected to the logged in Windows Live ID and the user can login with one click on the Windows Live button in the Magento Online Shop.
After successful authentication the user is logged in in the Magento Online Shop - without the need to remember another username or password.
